How to Use Your Report
Your Personality Map is a living document. Here's how to get the most from it.
Read It Slowly
Your Personality Map is 3,200 to 4,200 words. It's designed to be read in a single sitting — but not rushed. Set aside 20–30 minutes when you won't be interrupted. Read it once without judgment, then return to the sections that resonate most.
Sit With the Tension
Block 5 — The Tension at the Center — names the core paradox in your personality. This is often the most uncomfortable section to read, and the most valuable. Don't resolve it. Sit with it. The tension is not a problem to solve — it's a pattern to understand.
Use the Reflection Prompts
The report ends with five identity-level questions. These aren't journaling exercises — they're designed to surface the deeper implications of your profile. Take them seriously. Write your answers down. Return to them in a month.
Share It Strategically
Your Personality Map can be a powerful tool in conversations with coaches, therapists, partners, managers, and teams. Consider sharing specific sections that are relevant to the relationship:
- With a coach or therapist: Share the full report. It gives them a detailed map of your internal architecture.
- With a manager: Share 'How You Think' and 'What Drives You' to help them understand how to bring out your best work.
- With a partner: Share 'How You Connect' and 'You Under Pressure' to deepen mutual understanding.
- With a team: Share the executive summary as a starting point for conversations about working styles.
Return to It
People who get the most from their Personality Map read it more than once. The first reading is recognition. The second is understanding. The third is application. Set a reminder to revisit your report in 30 days — you'll notice things you missed the first time.
